Saturday night we were discussing travel plans of a friend who had a beautiful guidebook for France sitting on the table and my wife commented that the internet was great for researching specific places if you knew what you were looking for but not so good for giving recommendations and information for large scale travel such as what do I do for 30 days in France (not our problem right now sadly) and that Guide Books still had a place in the travel space.
So I guess this discussion confirms that the problem really exists and hasn’t been solved properly for the internet.
While it is currently limited to Europe & USA Inspirock aims to provide a time based itinerary of what to see and do at a given time of the year for any city or country in their database.
