MyCrowd – Crowdsourced Bug Finder Platform

Ed: There are a couple of these QA bug finder platforms in the market, this one has a pretty slick pricing model, as a potential customer I would be happy to give it a try as it is very clear what the pricing model is and how to deploy.

You might want to put some sort of limit on the $ per project depending on how buggy you think your software is.

I know in my case certain contractors that have since been moved on might end up costing me a fortune, but I guess the cost of finding bugs up front is going to be pretty low vs the cost of them emerging in the wild and crashing your service or worse exposing customer data and possibly wiping out your startup.

If you are running a small team of developers on a startup this makes a lot of sense, you just can’t trust the team to be able to test their own code objectively and with high level of skills, they will be blinded to what they don’t know or can’t perceive in their own code.

They claim 25,000 testers and you could not leverage this sort of diversity or security skill set from your own team.
