| What problem are you solving? | Calling a friend to get a recommendation – apart from being annoying – does not allow us to access all the information out there (your friend from LA might have great suggestions for NYC or London, but how could you know that?). Everyone has favorite restaurants, but each one of us saves them in a different way (business cards, Notes, Google Maps, excel, etc.) making it hard to share them quickly. Tastd wants to become everyone’s repository of favorite restaurants and the only restaurants-discovery platform that works everywhere in the world. |

Prior work experiences in M&A at Nomura (London) and McKinsey&Company. Worked across several industries, including supporting the creation of the digital division for a major Italian Telco (app/web platforms, digital customer care, social media strategy, digital advertising).Andrea Pedroni: MBA at Columbia Business School, class of 2015; BA + MSc in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Control at Bocconi University (Milan). Prior working experiences: McKinsey&Company, C&A Advisors Shanghai. Relevant industries covered: Retail (dynamic pricing), Technology and Banking (built an app-based, multi-country internal monitoring system). Matteo Orioli: Degree in Communication Design from Politecnico di Milano; Senior Developer with 4+ years of experience in the development of web applications powered by PHP (Symfony), Javascript (AngularJS) and Java (Liferay). Worked on several web projects for major Italian companies/brands such as SONY, Campari, Bonduelle, Cameo. Developed a custom social network for an Italian startup called “Classe Digitale”. |
