Otono has created and operates multiple services, including Roam Mobility, Ready SIM, and AlwaysOnline Wireless.Otono was founded in 2011 with Roam Mobility, a roaming replacement service for Canadians travelling to the USA. Founder and CEO, Emir Aboulhosn, recognized that Canadians were the largest subset of inbound travellers to the USA and did not have an affordable way to stay connected. There was a business opportunity to service this market and that led to the creation of Roam Mobility, which today has over 180,000 Canadian customers with nearly 2,500 retail sales points.
