Elevator Pitch: The Oceans mHealth app brings together a global database of drug products, ingredients enabling drug safety, drug interaction, severity on a global scale. Available in Apple and Android stores (US data set) All public data sources – no necessary curation (thus unregulated – essentially just a big data mash up)

We are focused on Patient Safety – enabling access to deep medical data but presented in a consumer friendly format for Drug Interactions and Drug Safety. 4.3bn Prescriptions were dispensed in the US last year! The consumer / patient need to be better educated as to potential interactions and safety with over prescribed meds, over the counter products as well as the spiralling nutrients and supplements consumers now use!

Oceans mHealth has three business models – the consumer app version (Apple & Android) a second B2B model for hospitals and insurance companies for both population health understanding and combining innovation with retention and loyalty of policy holders. Thirdly we will introduce a DNA import ability – where a consumer who has already taken a DNA Test can import there raw DNA file (VCF or BAM) and the Oceans mHealth app will match that to drug ingredients that you will react adversely to.

Oceans mHealth also has a Drug Match functionality enabling the user to match their medication to that overseas at product ingredient level, form and strength and to local or exact manufacturers. Suited for business travellers, holiday makers, and medical tourism
