Pete has taken out a whole floor in a commercial building 2 minutes walk from Town Hall and across the road from Darling Harbour.
When I first saw it a few months ago, it was an empty shell. Now its a hive of activity with dozens of desks being assembled, Internet via a 500Mb Microwave Link from BigAir installed, new presentation and meeting spaces built, new startups moving in daily and community activities already kicking off.
The big bonus is the fantastic 250sqm balcony with bbq, which I’m sure will be the scene of some of this years best Startup parties.
Being in the CBD you would think it would be expensive but its actually cheaper per desk than the other co-working spaces on the fringe of the city.
Prices start at $197 per month casual (up to 3 days) and $297 for a truly permanent desk and are typically half the price of other city centre locations.
About 50 people have signed up to become Charter Members and there is only ~5 of these memberships left.

They are opening every Friday at 3pm for inspections, meet at 3pm sharp in the foyer of 234 Sussex St, Sydney.
