Development costs for Apps are out of control, there is more work than developers. Over 1.2 million apps in App Store as of Jun 2014. Thats a lot of developers.
Hiring Developers is tough, small studios have trouble attracting talent, given the high failure rate, the ability to get the most out of your developer $ and iterate your apps is critical to success.
Again another app solving a real problem in a growing market with a viable solution.
