Ed: Im not sure I buy this service. I feel very uncomfortable giving the social media reigns to a person outside the company. 

It’s hard to get the authenticity you or your brand needs when someone else is posting for you and you run the risk that the posts will either be too bland, corporate advertising or worse might go too far.

As an example I know that the Buzzpen Founders didn’t post this themselves, it was posted by some social media or SEO guy. You can tell because I asked the question what the name of the Founders where and the answer was “Buzzpen Team”, not particularly authentic.

I guess these guys interview you agency style and then line up a stack of posts each week and schedule them.

I can see how this would take the load off your marketing/social team and make sure your social media activities occur each week, but I wonder if they are going to get the engagement you want?

Probably suitable for larger businesses who aren’t ready to give their social media accounts over to most qualified person in the office to run them (their intern).
