| Tell us about the market & founders, why is this a great opportunity? | Mait Muntel is the CEO and co-founder of Lingvist. He created the product out of a personal need – while working as part of the Higgs Boson team at CERN, he found that existing language learning tools didn\’t meet his requirements, and so he set out to create his own. Using mathematical formulas and algorithms he developed at CERN, he build out the Prototype of Lingvist and subsequently launched it. Ott Jalakas is the COO and co-founder of Lingvist. A friend of Mait\’s, he was formerly a banker and trader with Swedbank in Sweden, the Ukraine and other markets before starting to work on Lingvist full time in 2014. Our CTO, Tanel Hir is a former Skype engineer. |
