| What problem are you solving? | The world needs the Shoka app because climate change and the decline of green spaces across the globe are very real threats to humanity. Cycling is a lifestyle, one that values the health of people, communities, and the planet above all else. By using the Shoka app, cyclers can customize their biking experience, and effectively create their own local cycling cultures. At Shoka, we believe that the bicycle is experiencing a renaissance. In cities all over the world more and more people are choosing to bike to work and school, instead of using polluting cars. Basically, we believe that cycling can save the world, and thus we are developing tools that will make cycling easier, safer and more interactive everywhere. |
| What is your solution? | Shoka has designed a smart bicycle bell that will transform cycling culture everywhere; making biking safer, easier, and more social.A small device easily attached to any bike, ShokaBell can differentiate between approaching cars and pedestrians, help the rider to navigate through traffic-laden cities, and, with the Shoka App, monitor cycling progress and let the rider know if their bike has been moved. Shoka\’s ultimate goal is to promote cycling culture across the globe–because a world with more bicycles is a greener, healthier and happier world. https://geo.itunes.apple.com/us/app/shoka-your-automatic-cycling/id1059401974?mt=8 |
