Ed: This service is based in India. Normally we don’t bother with directory sites which are usually low quality and full of spam.

However this is not your normal directory site. This one is pretty slick and instead of being scraped names the team actually appears to have individually signed up all the doctors in numerous hospitals and clinics and have started with a few very big cities and have a comprehensive range of doctor type with full doctor details including contact and addresses.

It has community ratings, a booking service and a very detailed selection by health care type.

If they can continue to acquire the doctors across the country this could be a big deal.

Hausela is the investment office of Piush Kumar with the objective of funding startups in the digital technology space. He has funded, built and grown multiple businesses in USA, Canada, Hong Kong, China, and India over the last 30 years.

As a former COO of Max Healthcare, Ravi Virmani would get inundated with frantic calls from friends and relatives seeking ‘insider’ information about the best doctor or a hospital that wouldn’t rip them off. These incidences led Ravi to identify a real need in the healthcare industry for widely available credible, reliable, and transparent healthcare information. The trio had similar vision to bring change to the digital healthcare space and this led to the inception of Credihealth.
