|What problem are you solving?
|Multi-person online meetings lack body language so all the usual visual cues are missing. Consequently people talk over each other a lot and very heavy handed and clunky facilitation is needed to restore order. With this app a lot of the manual facilitation that gets done is no longer necessary so meetings can flow more naturally.
|What is your solution?
|Bring clarity to your meetings by providing a second channel of communication, using color.Meeting participants can indicate whether they would like to speak, whether they agree with what is being proposed and more.
This is especially useful for tele-conference or Skype calls where multiple participants cannot easily signal a facilitator using body language – instead they signal the whole group by using a colored icons.
|How will you make money?
|Tell us about the market & founders, why is this a great opportunity?
|Rimu Atkinson is the founder and web developer of the company. He has been building websites and applications since 2000 using a wide variety of tools and technologies.Several years ago he was involved in a group of people that had a series of face to face meetings that used colored cards to more clearly signal things to the group and lighten the facilitation load. Some time after that he took those colored cards online in a very early version of Clarity Rainbow and some members of the Occupy movement in New Zealand used it to help run their Skype conferences involving people from all over the country.
Recently Rimu has been traveling around the world as a digital nomad, building websites and working on Clarity Rainbow in his spare time. It is finally ready to be released to the world!
