|What is your solution?||We\’re making taxes dead simple for small businesses and their advisors. We looked at the tax industry and saw a stale, outdated industry, and now we\’re shaking it up. Canopy is a simple, yet robust tax resolution and practice management software. It introduces online client surveys for auto-population of IRS forms, smart tax analytics, a dynamic client portal, and more. We\’ve simplified the tax resolution process for tax attorney and CPAs. Dealing with the IRS is difficult enough, there\’s no need for your software to be difficult too.|

|Tell us about the market & founders, why is this a great opportunity?||Kurt Avarell is the founder of Canopy Tax. He graduated from BYU with an Undergraduate and a Master\’s degree in 2008. And later received his J.D. from BYU as well. Before Canopy Tax Avarell was the CEO of Converus and Rocket Relief from January 2013 – August 2013 and August 2010 – March 2013 respectively.|
