Startup Name Mondoz
What problem are you solving? 1. Lack of variety of cuisines here in Australia even though we have so many cultures
2. Craving for authentic food, even though there are many overseas locals that live here
3. Reduced social-ness at the dining table, even though technology seeks to increase our communication
What is your solution? 1. Connect people to a variety of cultural cuisines they may have never tried before (eg. Turkish, Morrocan, Hungarian, Thai etc.)
2. Connect people to authentic food that would leave them the impression that they have just flown to that country and eaten an authentic cultural meal
3. Give people a refreshing social and cultural experience at the dining tableHow it works:
Home Cooks (passionate cooking users) on Mondoz post up authentic cultural meals that they are offering and Meal Explorers (hungry users) book in/order the meal and pay through The customer then, either joins the Home Cook at their home to enjoy their meal with other folks, or it is delivered/picked up as organised with the Home Cook.
Target Market Aged: 21-40, Working Class, Foodies/Travellers
How will you make money? Take a small cut off the top of meal orders.
Tell us about the market & founders, why is this a great opportunity? Great opportunity because it revolves around one of the 4 needs (food), provides more variety, helps people make side income,
